ARE U.S. SOLDIERS ON AMPHETAMINES??
I ask this question following yesterday's killing of 16 Afghan civilians by a U.S. Army soldier. During WWII, Korea and Vietnam, the U.S. gave their soldiers and airmen amphetamines and said they were "safe"!!! However, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency, serious potential side effects include psychotic behavior, depression, anxiety, fatigue, paranoia, aggression, violent behavior, confusion, insomnia, auditory hallucinations, mood disturbances and delusions. Such side effects long ago banished punch bowls full of Dexedrine from pre-game training tables in football clubhouses. I would be interested to know if the soldier who killed those 16 innocent civilians (a) has had a drug test or (b) just went "bonkers" on his own.........I strongly suspect he was "on drugs" of some kind!
